Halloween Charity Event

This year my family (yep all 6 of us) came together to brainstorm how we can help out the community. The idea came of doing a Halloween photo shoot and collection food and donations for the Upper room Charlottetown food bank. We all loved the idea and got right to work. Harmony my 11 year old daughter designed the sets and got everything all ready. Ezra and Haven my 4 and 2 year old, were our models for the set for advertising. We booked 14 clients very quickly and I must say I was a little nervous but my husband kept reassuring that everything will be ok. The day came and Harmony collected donations,  Darius and Michel my 14 year old son and darling husband helped with selling prints after each session. I must say they did pretty good with such little training.  I photographed and most importantly Ezra gave out suckers!!  It was so much fun and we were able to collect $220 in donations and a huge amount of food. We really had such a great time doing this as a family. This is not something I usually would do. I tend to keep my kids as far as I can from my business as I can with a home studio. We were able to make such a difference for our community. Out kids were thrilled to deliver the donation the next day. I strongly believe that doing service for others will bring you the happiest feeling. I had a great time with this session. Here are some photos we captured. Halloween CollageHalloween CollageHalloween CollageHalloween CollageHalloween CollageHalloween CollageHalloween CollageHalloween CollageHalloween CollageHalloween CollageHalloween CollageHalloween CollageHalloween CollageHalloween CollageHalloween CollageNow for Christmas!! lol Contact me if you’re interested in a Christmas sessions or to get on the mailing list.
